It is important to use the right wording in your literature, Facebook page and website, regarding your not-for-profit status and registration with Twins Trust.  Please read the information below for more details.

Twins Trust-registered

On your literature, website and any other written material, please be sure to state that your club is 'registered' and not 'affiliated' to Twins Trust.  The word ‘affiliated’ has certain legal rules and regulations surrounding it.

Not-for-profit

The use of the term ‘charitable’ has a legal connotation in England and Wales and means that you are registered with the Charity Commission. The Commission can take action against groups that use it, but aren’t registered. To avoid this, you might be wise to use the words 'not for profit’.
